Mike is an exceptional guide! He communicated early to make sure we found him and got aboard the boat. He took us right to where the fish were! My wife and I lost count of how many we reeled in! Mike made sure our hooks always had bait on them and helped us with removing the hooks when we made a catch. We caught several species and even caught a black tip shark! My wife caught two mackerels that were keeper size! Mike fileted them on the boat for us and put them on ice so we could take them in to town and have them cooked up! It was a great experience and we would definitely do it again and recommend Mike to our friends!

Great day fishing with a great guide!! Weather iffy, fish hard to find, but Capt Mike put us on fish, caught multiple species. Highly recommended, you WILL have a GREAT time!!

We had an awesome day on the water with Captain Mike! Caught over 30 fish throughout the trip and even hit the inshore slam redfish, trout, and snook, plus plenty more including Spanish mackerel, jack, and grouper. Captain Mike was super knowledgeable, knew exactly where to go, and kept us on the fish all day long. He made the entire experience fun and seamless. We’ll absolutely be booking again any time we’re in town. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch inshore charter!

This was my daughter's first time ocean fishing. We had the best time. Terry was super cool and knowledgeable about the fish we were catching and he put us on the fish from first cast .. literally. Defintly going to book him again in future

Just finished an awesome 2 hour evening trip with Captain Mike and it exceeded expectations! Great communication leading up to the trip with Mike asking what we wanted to get out of the trip. He set realistic expectations with recent storms making it tougher to catch fish, but we ended up with around 5 Snook and 1 HUGE redfish, along with many other catches that came off the hook before we could net them. Mike was an excellent guide and very friendly and knowledgeable, and my son and I can’t wait to go again! I highly recommend this charter!

We booked Precision Backcountry Charters through fishing booker for a trip with my dad son and uncle. Cant Mike was super responsive and easy to deal with. We were unfortunately not able to go out due to tough conditions and wind/chop and we worked to reschedule, Mike was flexible and we had similar conditions on the re-booked day. While I cannot speak to Mike's abilities as a fisherman (from my reading of reviews and research I think he rates very highly) I can speak to Capt Mike's abilities as a responsible and thoughtful Capt. he put enjoyment and safety ahead of profit, he could have easily taken us out, got paid and moved on but he chose not to and refunded out trip and I found that to be honest and commendable. Next time we are in the St.Pete/Tampa area we will 100% be going out with Capt. Mike.
