Captain Michael Ikemeier is the proud owner and guide behind Precision Backcountry Charters, serving the vibrant fishing community of St. Petersburg, Florida. His connection to the outdoors began early, and over time, he transformed his lifelong passion for fishing into a meaningful career on the water. Today, he welcomes guests aboard with genuine enthusiasm, offering personalized trips that reflect his years of experience and deep appreciation for Florida’s diverse marine environments. Choosing a life far from the office, Captain Michael left the traditional 9-to-5 routine to follow his calling on the water. Whether you’re casting your first line or refining your technique, he’s committed to providing a patient and engaging experience where everyone feels comfortable and confident. He also enjoys the precision and timing of flat lining live bait while trolling, a technique that offers consistent opportunities for exciting catches. His knowledge, calm demeanor, and dedication to teaching make every outing productive and enjoyable for all skill levels.
